Good Church of Houston is a new Korean church being planted in Houston, preparing to launch in 2027. We believe in more than just growth in numbers. We believe in God's vision. Our calling is to share the Gospel as a life-changing message and help others draw closer to Jesus. At Good Church, we are building a place where faith comes alive and lives are changed by the love of Christ.

Mission Statement
At Good Church, our mission is to reach the lost, raise faithful disciples, reflect the image of Christ, and build a church that pleases God, not just people. We want to spread the “Good News” Gospel, offer true worship, preach the living Word, build Christ-centered community, and raise a generation that lives out God's purpose with faith, love, and lasting impact for the next generation.
Our Identity
What Makes a Good Church?
Our “Good Church” is not built by our own dreams or preferences. Our true purpose is to restore and accomplish what brings joy to God's heart.
We are not building a church which looks good to us; we are building a church which looks good to God.
It is a place where the lost are found and disciples are formed, raising a generation to live out God's purpose. We are not here to compete or to focus only on growing in numbers. We are here to care, to reach, and to build something lasting, so that the next generation does not become a different generation.
Why Plant a New Church?
Planting a church is not an option; it is a necessity.
God is still building His Church. No matter how many churches exist, God's mission must continue. Church planting is not just an option; it is part of God's plan to reach more hearts with the Gospel. God is still at work, moving in powerful ways and preparing something greater than we can imagine. At Good Church, we are simply saying “yes” to being part of that vision.
A new church pours everything into the original purpose for which God builds His Church: not a maintenance church or a museum church, but a Mission Church.
Who We Are For
Good Church is centered on the young: young in mind and spirit, beyond age. And we dream of being a good church for every generation and every walk of life.
